Painting

Painting is the open expression of ideas and emotions. If you can imagine it, you can make it come to life through this medium.

While you're here you can participate in painting multiple ways.

Canvas Painting- Grabbing a canvas and creating a masterpiece on paper.
Paint throwing-The art of hanging a canvas and literally throwing paint at it to convey your ideas.
Paint classes- Offered to young and old alike. No matter your skill level you can learn something new or just have fun!

Pottery

Pottery is the process creating objects with clay and other ceramic materials.

Through this medium you can embrace your imagination by creating 3D products with your hands. They get fired in-shop and are available to pick up within the week. Timeframes are subject to size and drying times before placing them in our Kilns. Once they are done you will have a keepsake you can treasure forever.

If you are familiar with pottery, you have the option of utilizing our equipment and purchasing supplies to create your item.

If you would like to learn more about pottery or are still a novice you may attend one of our fun classes to increase your skills.

Knitting and Crocheting

Knitting is a method which yarn is used to create a textile or fabric such as garments.

Crocheting is similar but uses a hooked needle to manipulate the yarn and occasionally twine or wire to create the item.

Come join one of the groups or just relax in our chairs and needlework away. Supplies and tools are offered, and all skill levels are welcomed.

Quilting

Quilting is the stitching together of a minimum three layers of fabric either by hand or machine. Usually done to create intricate blankets.

Come join our group and learn the multiple ways to enjoy the art.

Candle Making

Candle making is the manipulation of several types of wax to create an object for decoration or a light source or both.

Through our workshops you can make your very own candles. Whether it is a dipped candle or a jarred candle you will be taking something home you will be proud of.

Crafting

Crafting is considered a variety of art forms. Crafted items are divided into five basic types: textile, decorative, paper, functional, and fashion. They can be made with basically anything you can think of.

Here at The Whimsical Den, we have weekly workshops where anyone of any age or skill level can come and create. There is a craft to make for everyone.
